So out of the two movies I watched last night, the aptly named Wristcutters was the comedy. It was super cute, plus how can you resist a morbidly themed comedy that rolls suicide, romance, and a roadtrip all into one?

And this one was the serious movie. Lars and the Real Girl is about a guy who’s too shy to meet women, and so he orders a Real Girl (aka a sex doll) from the Internet and starts proudly introducing her about town as his girlfriend Bianca. The town psychiatrist recommends that everyone goes along with it for Lars sake, with unexpected results. A lot of subtle, unsaid moments in this one, but there were definitely tears by the end of it.
